POOL SPECS
25 yards X 50 meters. There will be a lane line placed at 25 METERS. The
competition area (deep end) ranges in depth from 12 to 7 feet. Routines
should enter at the deep end. We will be swimming 25 METERS with the
lines. There is a 3-meter diving board in the middle of the deck in the
starting end. This is an outdoor pool. There is also a lifeguard chair
that is off center and hopefully will not interfere with any deck work.
There will be two lanes open throughout the competition for LAP SWIM
ONLY. There will also be
space available in the shallow end to warm-up routines, as long as it is
not distracting to the judges.

RULES TO GOVERN & ELIGIBILITY
All swimmers must be registered with USSS as regular athlete members.
For other rule information; please refer to the current USSS rulebook.
There is exception to the Age Groups rules.
There is no over-qualification of athletes.
HOW TO ENTER: Please
use the Master Entry Form. All entries must be received by March 23,
2010; entries are limited to the first 200 swimmers. As per our
Association rules: A penalty fee of $25 per club plus double the
individual entry fee will be assessed for each event entered late. This
amount must be paid in advance or on deck before athletes can swim.

FEE INFORMATION
$25.00 per competitor sponsor fee which includes payment for the social.
Each routine event will be $5.00 for each SWIMMER ENTERED. The
figure event is $5.00 per swimmer. Alternates please pay routine entry
fee, if not swimming another routine event.

DIRECTIONS:
From Ontario Airport to Host Hotel:
Take 10 Fwy. East (towards San Bernardino ) to 15 Fwy. South (towards
San Diego) to 91 East to Riverside . Exit University. Proceed to traffic
lights; turn right on University, and drive south 1.5 miles. (You will
pass the pool on the way.) Hotel is on right side.
FOOD SERVICES
A concession stand will be open at the pool during competition times. No
glass is permitted on the pool deck. We will be serving healthy meal at
reasonable prices. For convenience, if your team would like to run a
“tab” and pay for meals purchased at the end of the meet, please submit
a written team roster to, snack bar coordinator, as soon as you arrive
at the pool on Saturday am.
TEAM SOCIAL
We will be holding a social for the swimmers on Saturday evening.
Beginning after 12u solos (approx. 5:30) we will provide dinner adjacent
to the Pool. This will continue until after the final event.
We have reserved an auditorium with a stage. Each team or club is
asked to bring a skit, or show to perform
OTHER INFORMATION
1. Judges please wear white tops and blue bottoms
2. The weather is very unpredictable. Please come prepared for rain or
shine.
3. Shade is limited. If you are able to bring our own canopies, you are
encouraged to do so.
4. Only registered swimmers will be allowed in the pool at any time.
6. Due to the large attendance at this meet we would welcome volunteers
to provide parents to help with scoring.
The schedule below is based on past year’s entries, beginning Saturday
at 6:30 a.m. and including minimal warm-up and prep times. We will email
you after the entries are in to inform you of any necessary change to
the schedule. Every effort will be made to conclude the meet by 4:00
p.m. on Sunday (hopefully earlier) but we cannot guarantee a finish time
at that hour. Routine
spacing will be in 10-minute shifts if there are too many routines
scheduled in the pool at one time.
This time will be increased IF time permits. We would really like
to have five panels of judges for each of the four figure panels. Please
let us know if you are bringing judges on the form included below.

6:30am - 6:50 am Coaches and officials meeting during LAP SWIM ONLY for
12 and under figures
6:50 am - 7:10 am 10/under and 11/12 figure warm-up
7:10 am - 7:15 am Pool closed. Judges and scorers prepare for events.
7:15 am 10/U and 11/12 figure competition. Warm up lanes only for
swimmers in the 12 and under figure competition.
20 minutes lap swim for 13/15 swimmers may take place during the 12 and
under figure competition.
13-15 figure warm-up 20 minutes
5 minutes Pool closed. Judges and scorers prepare for events
13/15 figure competition. Warm up lanes only for swimmers 13-15 figure
competition
20minutes lap swim for Junior swimmers may take place during the 13-15
figure competition. 20 minute Jr warm up, 5 minutes judges and scorers
